Adulting 101 classes? We've got Those!

On February 4, we launched the start of our free (yes, I said, "Free"!) Adulting 101 classes starting with
Money Matters: Finances and Creating a Budget.
You can check out all of our specials and the links for these courses on the FB page here: The Tutoring Teacher.

Many high school and college students have discussed with us the need for some guidance on daily activities in real life, so we created courses for those getting ready for or those who are already living the adult life.
Who can use extra help sorting out finances? Who can afford to pay for it? Generally, folks who need that help are already feeling stuck!
Our mission is to give back by offering these FREE courses as a thank you! If you benefit from these, please share our page. There is no greater review than by word of mouth.

We are currently offering tutoring specials that will hopefully get our page ignited!

Refer-A-Friend that signs up for six (1/2 hour) tutoring sessions, and you or your student will receive two online homework helping sessions free! (Referral must give your name).

Refer-A-Friend that signs up for four (1/2 hour) online tutoring sessions, and you or your student will receive two online homework helping sessions free! (Referal must give your name.)

If you share five of my posts from The Tutoring Teacher's Facebook page or this blog, I will provide one online homework helping session.

The free sessions must be scheduled in advance
and cannot be past 8 p.m. (East Coast time).
Online sessions are available through
FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Go To Meeting, or
Marco Polo (not live video chat).

Hope to see you soon!

Welcome to The Tutoring Teacher

Are you struggling with college courses? English grammar, Literature, or History?? What about Technology? Do you need one-on-one, hands-on learning through experience? Need to learn Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, Google docs or Slides, or just a one-time extra boost for a project? Do you just need proofreading and editing services?

Does your middle school or high school student need help in English, Social Studies, or History? Public school, home school, or private school students are welcome. I have experience with public school curriculum, Abeka, Bob Jones, and Alpha & Omega.

I can provide a variety of tutoring help at a reasonable cost. No registration or contract commitment to learning centers is required or expected. We can also turn a tutoring session into a study group with affordable pricing that you can split with other parents or college students can split with the other study buddies. (This is a great way to meet study partners.)

We can have a tutoring session via Facetime, Google tools (Hangouts or using Docs or Slides sharing), or Skype, or we can meet at an agreed on destination such as local libraries, local college study areas, or at your home.

I can create specific educational resources to serve a student in the area that needs a boost (i.e. quizlet and more) that have "apps" on the go for Ipad, Ipod, Iphone, and other tablets and devices.

If you live in the areas of Gaston (Belmont, Mount Holly, Bessemer), Cleveland (Kings Mountain, Shelby, Boiling Springs), or even Cherokee County, we can find an agreeable place to have some quiet learning time.

Hours are available on the following days:

Monday
Tuesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday (special circumstances)
